The Dowagiac Middle School eighth grade Black team improved to 4-6 with a 56-40 victory over visiting Lakeshore on Thursday.
Tremail Butcher scored 12 points to lead the Black team, while Cody Carnell finished with 10 points.
Dowagiac also got eight points from Troy Butcher, six points from Buddy Neumann, five points from Mike Pranschke and four points from Jason Turner.
Corey Rodgers and Austin Adams finished with two points each.
Dowagiac will wrap up its season on Monday at St. Joe Upton. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
