Cassopolis lands pair on Lakeland hoop team

Lakeland Conference co-champions Cassopolis and Bridgman both landed a pair of players on the all-league squad which was announced recently.
Cassopolis' Michelle James and Dee Dee Hawkins were first team all-conference members. Bridgman's Miranda Strefling of Bridgman was also picked for the first team.
Buchanan's Hayley Cashier and River Valley's Heather Totzke rounded out the first team.
The second team consisted of Sarah Svoboda of Bridgman, Emily Ross of Buchanan, Kristin Toney and Stephanie Koontz of Edwardsburg and River Valley's Valerie Schlutt.
Amy Houghton of Bridgman was named Coach of the Year.
