Immerse yourself in the holiday spirit at historic Gardner Mansion Friday, Dec. 8, at 511 Green St. in Dowagiac.
A Christmas open house to benefit the first Dogwood Festival Choir Camp will be hosted at the mansion from 5 to 8 p.m.
Guests will enjoy the history and ambiance of this beautiful home, Christmas cookies prepared by students in the Life Skills classes from Union High School and Christmas carols performed by members of the Dogwood Chorale.
Tickets cost $5 per person.
Proceeds help send kids to the newly forming Dogwood Festival Choir Camp for area middle school students.
The first session of camp is scheduled for the summer of 2007 on the campus of Southwestern Michigan College.
Local restaurants are helping to sponsor the open house by providing meal discounts in exchange for your ticket stub.
Each ticket is valid for one promotion.
