NILES – The 25th annual Niles-Buchanan YMCA/First Source Bank Thanksgiving Day Run was another huge success.
Over 1,200 participants from all over the United States took part in this year's event.
In the 10K run, the overall female winner was Laura Herr of Niles, with a time of 40:08. The overall male winner was Charlie Fox of Plymouth, Ind., with a time of 34:11.
Torrie Eger of Buchanan took the win in the female division of the 5K run, with a time of 19:44. The male winner was Jason Dahl of Jenison, wih a time of 17:18.
Jennifer Dewinter of Summerville, S.C. was the overall female winner in the 5K walk, with a time of 30:25. Ron Dupreez of Berrien Center was the overall male winner, with a time of 26:13.
