Trio named all-league

The Dowagiac varsity soccer team had three players named to the first, second or honorable mention portion of the All-Wolverine Conference soccer team.
Senior Tony Black was named first team all-league, Clay Hewitt to the second team and Nate Long to the honorable mention squad.
Dowagiac finished fifth in the conference with a 4-5-2 record. South Haven was the league champion with a record of 8-1-1 and 25 points. Otsego finished second with 24 points and a record of 8-1.
Plainwell was third and Vicksburg fourth. Rounding out the order of finish were Gull Lake, Allegan, Paw Paw, Three Rivers and Comstock.
