DECATUR – Mary Lou Schanz, 74, of Decatur, passed away Monday, Nov. 13, 2006 at Bronson Methodist Hospital, Kalamazoo.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Newell Funeral Home, Decatur, where a vigil service will be held at 7:30.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church of Decatur, of which she was a member, with Father Robert P. Creagan, celebrant.
Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery, Decatur.
Memorials may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition or to Relay for Life Van Buren County East.
