ST. JOSEPH – After a brave, eight-year battle with cancer, Lisa Marie Heritz peacefully went to live with her Lord on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2006, while surrounded by family and friends at the Center for Hospice in South Bend, Ind.
Friends are welcome to gather with Lisa's family today, Nov. 13, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Starks and Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Road.
Lisa's extraordinary life will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at First Church of God , 2627 Niles Ave, St. Joseph. with Pastor Prather officiating. Burial will follow in North Shore Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made in Lisa's name to First Church of God or "Mayo Clinic" in care of the Steven Briegel Cancer Research Fund or with Northwestern University Hospital and Dr. Nicholas Vick made out to: ENH Brain Tumor Research Fund.
