CASSOPOLIS – A $15,000 check was presented to Lewis Cass Intermediate School District Superintendent John Ostrowski on Oct. 25 from the Timmy P. Warner estate.
Presenting the check were Keith Warner, Jay Warner, Dale Warner and Gordon Warner.
Another brother, David Warner, was unable to attend. Mr. Warner passed away on March 11, 2005, and resided in Marcellus. Tim was involved in the LCISD- sponsored "Super Days for Super Kids" and became a strong supporter of the event.
Under terms of his last will and testament, "The funds are to be used for education programs beneficial to children mentally or physically handicapped…"
LCISD officials indicated that the funds will be used to help continue the "Super Days" event and to update the playground at Brookside Learning Center.
