Dan Stacey, board member and chairman of the Indoor Expo Complex project committee, gave a brief overview of the progress of the project. The committee has changed direction in the type of structure they would like to build.
Originally it was proposed that they would build a membrane structure building, but now they have partnered with Fiskars Construction to design a hard-sided steel structure with an arena concept. He shared with the association that this facility would have a significant economic impact on our local economy, offering a facility for several types of animal shows, trade shows and banquet facilities.
