Bids to construct the grant-funded parking lot at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Main Street came in significantly over budget.
The state asked that the project not be completed until next spring.
In the meantime, the city will work with the state to determine whether to re-bid the project this winter or to try to hold over existing bids.
Tree planting along Main Street and a portion of Indiana Avenue has been completed.
Tub grinding of brush at the compost facility is scheduled this week and is expected to take approximately three days.
