Nick Krizinski and Tanner Melvin shot 86 and 90 respectively on Friday to help Dowagiac advance to the Division 3 Regional Golf Tournament.
The Chieftains finished with a team total of 366, which was good enough to grab the final spot for the regional. Dowagiac will be hosting the regional at Hampshire Country Club on Friday.
Kalamazoo Christian captured the district championship as it shot 310 at Thornapple Creek Golf Course. The Comets were the host school on Friday.
Kalamazoo Hackett shot 325, Parchment 348, Edwardsburg 352 and Schoolcraft 364 to finish second through fifth respectively.
All five teams also advance to the regional tournament.
Richie Hutchinson shot a 93 for the Chieftains, who also got a 97 from Kevin Proshwitz and a 102 from Mike Hoff.
