The Dowagiac junior varsity golf team wrapped up its season on Friday with a junior varsity invitational hosted by Comstock at Hickory Creek Golf Course in Kalamazoo.
Dowagiac finished ninth out of 18 schools with a team score of 316.
Kalamazoo Hackett won the invitational with a score of 198.
Mike Hoff led the Chieftains with a round of 74. Tanner Melvin shot 75, while Jacob Miller finished with an 80. Dowagiac also got an 87 from Bo Parsons and a 105 from Trent Fryman.
The Chieftains' varsity squad will return to action on Wednesday when it plays in the Wolverine Conference Tournament at Pine View Golf Course near Three Rivers.
