A busy week continued on Tuesday for the Dowagiac varsity tennis team.
The Chieftains won their third Wolverine Conference match of the season with a 7-1 win over visiting Comstock in a make-up match.
The Chieftains swept the doubles flights and took three out of four singles flights to earn the victory.
"It was nice to get another conference win," Dowagiac coach Chuck Rubino said. "Taylor (Townsend) won a tough, tough match at No. 1 singles. It was nice to see our No. 1 doubles team hang in there and pick up a win."
Dowagiac (3-4-2) will return to action today with its final regular season conference match at Paw Paw. The match is slated to begin at 4:30 p.m.
