Cass County Probate Court Judge Sue Dobrich continues to lead the Daily News Football Forecasters as they head into week four.
Dobrich was 8-2 last week and is now 27-3 overall.
Dowagiac City Clerk Jim Snow is two games back of Dobrich with a record of 25-5, while Dowagiac Daily News Managing Editor John Eby is 24-6 after going 8-2 this past weekend.
A gaggle of forecasters are in a logjam at 23-7. They are Allison Hayes of FOX 28; Mike Behnke, Dowagiac's softball coach; Bryan Wild, sports official; Greg Younger, Dowagiac athletic director; Congressman Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph; and Scott Novak, Daily news sports editor.
Dowagiac Police Chief Tom Atkinson stands at 22-8 overall, while Cassopolis Police Chief Frank Williams is 20-10 on the season.
Niles Daily Star Managing Editor Michael Guilmette Jr. has been remarkable consistent this season, going 6-4 all three weeks. Guilmette stands at 18-12.
Forecasters will face another challenging week as conference play begins around the nation. There is one non-conference game, however, that will draw national interest on Saturday night. Notre Dame will be looking to rebound against host Michigan State.
