EDWARDSBURG – Edwardsburg and Ontwa Township Police Department Chief Kenneth Wray reports his officers arrested three males who broke into and attempted to steal alcohol from the Fireside, 26425 Maple St.
Officers received a tip advising that the building might be burglarized Tuesday evening.
At 8:45 p.m. Sept. 19, Officer Hubbard advised that three men had entered the building. Officer Sailor responded and assisted Officer Hubbard with taking two suspects into custody.
One suspect fled on foot and was captured shortly after the incident at his residence nearby.
Two 15-year-old juveniles were released to their parents.
Travis Ray Gullett of Edwardsburg was lodged at the Cass County Jail for burglary and larceny from a building.
Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office assisted police.
