The Dowagiac varsity golf team finished sixth at the Wolverine Conference Jamboree hosted by Vicksburg on Monday afternoon.
Otsego and the host Bulldogs tied for first place with a team score of 159. Otsego won the jamboree based on fifth man scoring.
South Haven finished third with a 160, while Allegan was fourth with a 166 and Gull Lake fifth with a 170.
The Chieftains finished with a 175 to take sixth.
Comstock (186), Three Rivers (190) and Paw Paw (193) rounded out the order of finish. Plainwell did not post enough scores to put up a team result.
Dowagiac was led by Mike Hoff's 41. The Chieftains also got a 42 from Nick Krizinski and a 45 from Kevin Proshwitz.
Tanner Melvin and Richie Hutchinson both shot 47.
The Chieftains are back in action on Wednesday when they travels to Gull Lake for the next league jamboree. Golf is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
