CASSOPOLIS – The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team arrested a Dowagiac man, Javon Demetrius Bomer, 19, on Tuesday on a felony warrant and for being in possession of one pound of marijuana.
Drug team members observed Bomer driving a vehicle in the city. Detectives were aware of the warrant for his arrest.
After Bomer stopped his vehicle, detectives made contact and placed him under arrest for the warrant and found him to be in possession of the pound of marijuana.
Bomer was lodged at the Cass County Jail for the felony warrant and for possession with intent to deliver marijuana.
He was arraigned Wednesday in Fourth District Court and was being held on $4,000 bond.
