New, veteran teachers coming to Brandywine

Today's pair of new Brandywine teachers are both additiions to the middle/high school.
Justin Rose is starting his first permanent teaching job with Brandywine.
He will teach French and U.S history at the high school.
Rose attended Hope College in Holland and student taught at Cityside Middle School in Zeeland. Prior to his new position with Brandywine Rose was a substitute teacher in the Holland area.
Rose said growing up near Niles has made him fairly comfortable in the community.
He said his goal is "to become involved in the community and to grow as a teacher."
Wynne Baumgartner already lives in Niles. She comes to Brandywine from Coloma Community Schools.
"I enjoy life here. I've lived here four years," she said.
Baumgartner will be a middle school special education teacher.
She has been married for 16 years to John Baumgartner. The couple has two children – Michael, 10 and Christopher, 6.
Baumgartner comes to Brandywine with 10 years of teaching experience, the last four as a special education teacher in Coloma.
She has a Bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and obtained her Special Education Teaching Certificate through Western Michigan University.
Baumgartner said her goal at Brandywine is to raise her children and retire.
