Three arrested for July burglary

Dowagiac Police Chief Tom Atkinson reports the arrest of two adults and one juvenile on burglary charges stemming from a breaking and entering of a Dowagiac Business in July.
Walter Frontczak, 19 and Justin Urban, 19, both of Dowagiac, turned themselves in at the Cass County Jail on warrants for Breaking and Entering of Building with Intent to Commit Larceny, and Larceny in a Building.
The two counts are both felonies that carry penalties of up to 10 years and four years, respectively.
A third juvenile suspect was left in the custody of his parents and charges are being sought for him through the Cass County Prosecutor's office.
On July 21, Deerpath Recyclers Corporation on Woodhouse Drive in the Dowagiac Industrial Park was burglarized and computer equipment and other items were stolen. During the course of the investigation, the computers and some of the other stolen property were recovered by Dowagiac Police.
