On July 21, the third annual Lee Memorial Foundation Golf Outing raised more than $16,000 to help Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital continue providing comprehensive health care services.
"We sincerely thank the 114 members of the community who participated in the outing," said Wayne D. Comstock, chair, Lee Memorial Foundation. "We are also grateful for the generous support of the numerous corporations and individuals who sponsored the event or contributed prizes for participants, as well as those who made monetary donations."
In addition to sponsorship support, the Lee Memorial Foundation Golf Outing was a huge success as a result of Chris Foote and other Spruce Ridge Golf Club staff members.
"Thanks to Spruce Ridge's expertise, as well as sponsors like St. Denys Foundation and Heartland Chrysler Jeep Dodge, everyone not only enjoyed a wonderful day of golfing, but also helped to sustain a valuable asset within our community: Borgess-Lee Memorial Hospital," Comstock added.
Along with a significant contribution from St. Denys Foundation and a 2006 Chrysler from Heartland Chrysler Jeep Dodge for the hole-in-one prize, other sponsors of this year's outing included:

Proceeds from the 2006 Lee Memorial Foundation Golf Outing will go toward the purchase of an impedance cardiography machine and/or patient beds.
