NILES - After the Memorial Day Holiday weekend, area teams will be preparing for the start of the District tournaments, which begin on Tuesday.
Here is a schedule and pairings of area district games:
Baseball
Division 2
Coloma will be the host of the year's Division 2 district tournament, which will feature Niles, St. Joe, Lakeshore and South Haven.
The Niles baseball team drew a first round bye and will play St. Joseph on Saturday, June 3 at noon.
The winner will advance to the finals, which are being played at 2 p.m. on June 3.
Lakeshore and South Haven will meet at 5 p.m. on May 30, with the winner advancing to play Coloma on June 3 at 10 a.m. The winner will advance to the finals.
Division 3
Bridgman will host the Division 3 district tournament, which begins on Tuesday, May 30.
Brandywine, Buchanan and Bridgman drew first round byes, with River Valley and Berrien Springs opening the tournament on Tuesday, May 30.
The winner will advance to the semifinals against Bridgman on Saturday, June 3 at 10 a.m.
The Bobcats and Bucks will automatically advance to the semifinals and meet on June 3 at noon.
The final two teams will meet at 2 p.m. for the district championship.
Softball
Division 2
Niles drew a first round bye along with St. Joseph. The two will meet on Saturday, June 3 at 10 a.m.
Coloma also drew a first round bye and will face the winner of the Lakeshore/South Haven game on June 3 at noon.
The final two teams will play for the district title at 2 p.m. on June 3.
Division 3
Brandywine and Buchanan both drew first round byes in the opening round of the Division 3 district tournament, which is being hosted by Bridgman.
The Bees also drew a first round bye, with Berrien Springs and River Valley opening tournament play on Tuesday, May 30.
The winner will advance to play Bridgman on Saturday, June 3 at noon.
The Bucks and the Bobcats will also play on June 3 at 10 a.m., with the winner advancing to the finals, which will be held at 2 p.m.
Soccer
Division 2
Vicksburg will host this year's District 17 Division 2 soccer tournament, which begins on Tuesday, May 30.
The Vikings will face the winner of Vicksburg/St. Joseph game in the second round of the district play on Saturday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m.
Lakeshore will take on Benton Harbor at 6:45 on May 30 with Sturgis facing the winner on Thursday, June 1.
The final two teams will meet on Saturday, June 3 at 10 a.m.
Division 3
The opening round of the Division 3 District Soccer Tournament will feature home games for host Edwardsburg and Buchanan.
Buchanan will host Three Rivers on May 30 with the winner advancing to face Comstock on June 1.
The Lady Eddies and Paw Paw will play on Tuesday, May 30, with the winner advancing to the Division 3 District semifinals to take on Dowagiac.
Both matches on May 30 will begin at 5 p.m.
The championship match is slated for June 3 at 11:30 a.m. at Edwardsburg High School.
Brandywine will play Bridgman on Thursday, June 1 in Kalamazoo for the start of district play.
