CASSOPOLIS - The Dowagiac Junior Equestrian Team competed at the MIHA District 3 meet on Sunday, May 21 at the Cass County Fairgrounds.
Dowagiac finished with 24 points.
Kassandra Cottrell finished first in flag race earning eight points. She also received eight points as she took first with the help of Allycia Mather in the two-man relay.
Mather earned five points for the team as she placed seventh in the flag race and sixth in barrels.
Michelle Benson scored three points for Dowagiac in the two-man relay race with her partner Sarah Haley. Haley also competed in classes on Sunday.
