NILES - The Niles girls varsity soccer suffered an unexpected 1-0 loss to Battle Creek Central Monday evening.
The Vikes outshot Battle Creek 11-2, but had an unlucky night at the goal.
Vicksburg will host this year's District 17 Division 2 soccer tournament, which begins on Tuesday, May 30.
The Vikings will face the winner of Vicksburg/St. Joseph game in the second round of the district play on Saturday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m.
Lakeshore will take on Benton Harbor at 6:45 on May 30 with Sturgis facing the winner on Thursday, June 1.
The final two teams will meet on Saturday, June 3 at 10 a.m.
