Niles FOP Yankees start season with a win

The Niles FOP Yankees started off the 2006 regular season with a win over the Red Sox 9-1. Starting pitcher for the Yankees was Evan Zimmerman, who pitched 6 innings allowing only one hit and striking out eight batters. The Yankees were led by Jesse Wilson with a home run and a single, Shawn Dudka with two doubles and a single, Evan Zimmerman with two singles and Tyler Bybee and Adrian Sisk each with singles. The starting pitcher for the Red Sox was Taylor Purucker with Matt North coming in for relief. Dante Stevens had a single for the Sox.
Niles FOP Yankees win over Braves
NILES - The Niles FOP Yankees won over the Braves 14-0 in regular season play.
Starting pitcher for the Yankees was Tyler Bybee with Michael Baumgartner coming in for relief. The Yankees were led at the plate by Jake Archer with a double and two singles, Jesse Wilson and Ethan Zimmerman each with a double and a single, Bybee and Shawn Dudka with two singles and Geordan Griffin, Emily Cavinder and Anthony Bice each with a single.
Starting pitcher for the Braves was Kevin Ballge with relief coming in from James Krause.
Yankees Defeat White Sox
The Yankees won against the White Sox 12-1.
Ethan Zimmerman was the starting pitcher for the Yankees going the distance with five strikeouts and allowing only three hits. The Yankees were led offensively by Evan Zimmerman and Geordan Griffin each with a double and a single, Jesse Wilson and Ethan Zimmerman each with two singles, Emily Cavinder with a triple, Shawn Dudka with a double and Adrian Sisk with a single.
Starting pitcher for the White Sox was Alex Wright with relief from Kevin Hatcher. Wright, Doug Freeman and Skylar Kimble all had singles for the White Sox.
