NILES - Niles put the finishing touches on their Big 16 Conference West Division golf championship Monday afternoon with a victory at Orchard Hills Country Club.
The Lady Vikings bested St. Joseph, Dowagiac and Benton Harbor to capture the championship.
Niles wins the championship despite the fact that one final division jamboree is yet to be played on May 8 at Blossom Trails in Benton Harbor.
Hillary Landgraf led the Lady Vikings once again as she fired a 54.
Dowagiac was led by Carly Gantt's 57.
The Chieftains also got a 60 from Jesse Oprea, a 62 from Tonya Scherer and a 67 from Brittany Munson. Brooke Lamb shot 68 for Dowagiac.
Dowagiac is back in action on Wednesday when it hosts South Haven in a non-conference match set to begin at 3:30 p.m.
Dowagiac will travel to Three Rivers on Thursday for another non-league match. That match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 as well.
