NILES - Niles Main Street is seeking to recruit all types of artists to be part of Downtown in Motion, This is a celebration of the arts showcasing the finest and most unique wood, glass, clay, ceramic, painting, metal, photography, fiber and fabrics, folk art and other creations by artisans in Niles and surrounding areas. This first year there is no entry fee. Entries in the juried all-media show must be original. Deadline for submission is Saturday, May 13.
The organizers are also interested in finding artisans who are able to demonstrate their craft for a limited time during the event (i.e. painters, felters, potters, wood turners, glass flame workers).
