Brandywine home runs too much for Bucks to overcome

NILES - Four home runs on the night helped lift the Brandywine varsity baseball team to two huge wins over visiting Buchanan Tuesday.
The Bobcats had three home runs in the first game alone to post a 21-1 win over the Bucks.
Dustin Zimmerman, Kevin Curran and Eric Rush all connected for home runs, while Justin Ely and Noah Udell each collected three hits in the game.
Aaron Koziel was the lone top hitter for Buchanan with a double.
Jake Harris took the win on the mound for the Bobcats. Mitchell Plott suffered the loss for the Bucks.
In game two, Brandywine took an 18-8 win in six innings. Cameron Ondresky tied the game in the fifth inning with a single that brought two runners across the plate.
Matt Wieger had a three-run homer and Brandywine scored seven more times in the sixth to end the game.
Ely, Zimmerman and Curran each contributed two hits.
Harris picked up his second win of the day relieving DJ Elrod in the third inning.
