Bobcats split with Tigers

NILES - A three-hour long doubleheader Wednesday afternoon between Brandywine and visiting Lawrence resulted in a split between the two teams.
The Bobcats won a very close first game, 11-10, before falling in the second game 4-0.
The Bobcat's are now 2-1 early in the season.
In the first game, Jake Harris took the win at the mound for Brandywine.
D.J. Elrod and Cameron Ondresky also pitched for the Bobcats.
Lee Cammire suffered the loss for the Tigers.
At the plate, Harris had a double for Brandywine, while Kevin Curran hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning.
In the second game it was Harris who took a loss at the mound while Justin Gardner grabbed the win. Harris is now 2-1 at the mound.
Dan Reidenbach and Will Coar also pitched for Brandywine.
The Bobcats will hit the road on Saturday when they compete in the Bronson Tournament, which is set to begin at 10 a.m.
