Homer John Purucker, 83, of Barber Street, in Edwardsburg, died at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, March 20, at his home from an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, at Granger Missionary Church, 50841 Birch Road, Granger, Ind with the Rev. Bob Renner, Pastor of the church, officiating.
Burial will be at Edwardsburg Cemetery with graveside military rites by the United States Army, the Edwardsburg American Legion and V.F.W. Posts. Taps will be played by Eric Baatz.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, in Edwardsburg. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the services on Thursday, at the church.
Memorial donations, in his memory, may be given to the American Heart Association.
