NILES - Bad boys, bad boys, whatcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do when they come for you?
Well, if you're the Brandywine High School coaches, you're goona hand the law enforcement a loss in the first annual Cops vs. Coaches basketball game.
The event was held at Brandywine High School Thursday night and helped raise money for Project Graduation 2006.
A handful of Brandywine coaches, including Jim Myers, Rex Pomranka, Terry Borr, Nate Knapp and many more, took on area law enforment officials in a very close game.
In the opening half, the coaches dominated the court, claiming more than a 20-point lead at halftime. However, by the end of the fourth period, the law enforcement team minimized their loss with two spectacular baskets that earned them six points a piece to come within one point at the ending buzzer.
Halftime entertainment was pure fun with Bill Camp and “America's Best Frisbee Dogs”. They excited the crowd with fantastic leaps and acrobatics, all while pursuing fast flying Frisbees all around the gym.
Brandywine senior parent and Project Graduation Committee Member Theresa Harrison was pleased with the turn out and very thankful for everyone who helped with this cause.
With the success of the game, the Brandywine community plans to hold an event like this every year to raise money for Project Graduation.
