Matthew J. “Matty” Kurtis, 47, of North Seventh Street, in Niles, died at 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday, March 21, at Lakeland Hospital-Saint Joseph, following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, at the Brandywine High School Gymnasium. Originally, the funeral services were scheduled to be held at Halbritter Funeral Home.
Pastor Gerald D. Bushnell, of Church of God Full Gospel will officiate. Burial will take place at Saint Joseph Valley Memorial Park, in Granger, Ind.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles.
