Donald Mitchell III, 29, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Portage, died suddenly on Thursday, March 9, in Grand Rapids.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15, at Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Portage Chapel, 411 E. Centre Avenue, Portage, with Pastor Mike Donahue of the Four Winds Christian Fellowship Church, Marshall, officiating.
Interment with military honors followed at Fort Custer National Cemetery. The family received friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Portage Chapel.
