NILES - Niles Service League is once again teaming up with Lakeland Medical Center to present Tips for Tots.
This program is set for Saturday, March 18, from 9 a.m. until noon, and will be held in the lower level of Lakeland Hospital-Niles located at 31 N. St. Joseph Street, Niles.
They will provide 100, fifth and sixth graders practical information to teach them how to care for infants, toddlers and young children. Registration forms have been sent out to area schools. You may also preregister your child by contacting Kellie Montgomery at 269-663-2210.
The Service League has additional activities in the coming weeks.
Annual Spring Rummage Sale
Niles Service League Spring Rummage Sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 22, from 8:30-11:30 a.m., at the Michiana Christian Embassy located at 1922 E. Main St., Niles. They will close from 11:30 a.m. until noon, and reopen from noon until 1 p.m. for their “Great Deals Bag Sale”
If you are interested in donating any clothing or household items you may contact Diana Curran (269) 684-7084 or Kellie Montgomery at (269) 663-2210 or any active League member. They will make arrangements to pick your items up.
Spring Raffle
Niles Service League members are selling tickets for their second annual Spring Raffle. This year's prizes are phenomenal.
Grand Prize: 51" Phillips HDTV
Second Prize: $200 Shell Gas Card
Third Prize: Two 1 hour massages (donated by Clear Choice Chiropractic) and a basket of goodies (donated by Niles Walmart Supercenter).
Tickets cost $10 each. All proceeds will go to NSL for continued support of the children of our community.
Golf Scramble
Niles Service League is back with our Annual Golf Outing. After taking a year off, we are excited to give the golfers of our community the chance to show their skills. Come join us for a Saturday morning of birdies, pars, and probably some bogies. This will be your opportunity to help us support our area youth attend the colleges of their choice in an effort to improve the lives of us all. All proceeds of this event will fund our scholarship program. Event will be held at Hampshire Country Club, Dowagiac on Saturday, May 6 with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
