Benedict J. “Ben” Pethe, 86, formerly of Edwardsburg and Miamisburg, Ohio, died at 12:35 a.m. on Friday, March 3, at Liberty Retirement Center in Centerville, Ohio where he had resided for the past few months.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, at the Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, in Edwardsburg, with Father Henry Randolph, Pastor of St. David's Episcopal Church, in Elkhart, Ind., officiating.
Burial will follow in Edwardsburg Cemetery with graveside rites of flag folding and taps by the military.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, one hour prior to the services, at the funeral home.
Arrangements were by Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home, in Edwardsburg.
