BENTON HARBOR - Miss Blossomtime 2006 will be crowned in a pageant at 7 p.m. Monday, March 6, at Lake Michigan College Mendel Center near Benton Harbor.
On Sunday, the 23 community queens compete in modeling, communication and photogenics.
Three winners are named in each category. There will not be a first-, second- and third-place. They are all equal winners, according to Operations Manager Jamie Brock.
All 23 community queens compete for Miss Blossomtime, first runner-up, second runner-up and Miss Congeniality.
Thirty-seven contestants will also compete for Mr. Blossomtime at LMC at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5.
A winner, first runner-up, second runner-up and Mr. Nice Guy will be named.
This is the 100th anniversary of Blossomtime, Michigan's oldest and largest multi-community festival.
