BRIDGMAN - The visiting Brandywine Bobcats were outscored 49-30 over the final three period Friday night as Bridgman wrapped up an outstanding regular season with a 60-38 Lakeland Conference victory.
The Bees finish the regular season at 19-1 and 14-0 in the league.
The Bobcats will take a 4-16 record (2-12 in the Lakeland) into Monday night's Class C district tournament.
Brandywine will return to Bridgman High School to take on these same Bees.
Bridgman grabbed an early 11-8 lead and then outscored the Bobcats 17-9 in the second quarter to break the game open.
Brandywine went into the locker room trailing by 11, 28-17, at the intermission.
The Bees held a slim 12-10 scoring advantage in the third quarter, however, because of that difference in scoring, Bridgman had a 40-27 lead after three quarters of play.
Bridgman exploded for 20 fourth quarter points, while holding Brandywine to just 11 points.
Matt Beaver led the Bobcats with nine points, while Caleb Frazier finished with eight points. Justin Ely, Kyle Low and Bil Bussy all contributed four points.
Dan Kunde led the Bees with 11 points. Zac Nemitz finished with 10 points.
