Eddies knock off Constantine

CONSTANTINE - A 35-point fourth quarter lifted the Edwardsburg Eddies to a 85-70 non-conference victory over host Constantine Tuesday night.
Constantine (4-15) led 52-50 heading into the fourth quarter, but were no match for the Eddies.
The Falcons scored 18 points in the final eight minutes.
Edwardsburg led 19-15 after one period of play, while the two teams were deadlocked at 35 heading into the locker room at the intermission.
Constantine outscored Edwardsburg 17-15 in the third quarter to grab the lead.
Adam Hancock scored 24 points to lead the Eddies, who are now 7-12 on the season.
Nate Harness added 19 points, while David Daniels and Zac Bollenbacher both contributed 10 points.
Constantine's Kyle Kline led all scorers with 25 points.

COVERT - The visiting Cassopolis Rangers improved to 12-7 on the year with a 65-54 win over Covert on Tuesday night.
The Rangers grabbed a quick 12-9 first quarter lead which it increased to 33-25 at the intermission.
Cassopolis and Covert both scored 12 points in the third quarter, which allowed the Rangers to take an eight-point advantage into the final quarter..
Leading 45-37, Cassopolis tossed in 20 points in the final eight minutes while holding Covert to 17 points.
Dan Stanage led the Rangers with 21 points, while Neal Bullocks finished with 12 points and Rodney Lewis 11 points.
Cassopolis also got nine points from John Young.
