NILES - On Friday afternoon, the Buchanan Bucks will head to the Battle Creek for the Division 3 state quarterfinals at the Kellogg Arena.
Buchanan will take on No. 10 ranked Allendale at 5:30 p.m. in one of four Division 3 matches.
The Bucks, who are 28-2 heading into the match, know what its going to take to defeat the 28-6 Falcons. They are going to have to be strong in all weight classes, precisely lower and middle weights.
Buchanan head coach Frank Mucha got an early glimpse of Allendale last weekend at the individual regional wrestling tournament and has an idea of what his team is going to have to do.
In an interview with Mucha on Monday, he said he was very excited about heading to the finals, but knows it's not going to be easy.
Tickets for the quarterfinals and semifinals are $6. Tickets are $7 for the finals or $15 for an All-Tournament ticket, which covers all three events.
