NILES - Division 3 regional champion Buchanan will wrestle in the state quarterfinals at the Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek on Friday, March 3.
The Bucks, who are 28-2 on the season, will take on Allendale beginning at 5:30 p.m.
In the other quarterfinal matches, Remus Chippewa Hills will face Roscommon; Caro will face Corunna; and Dundee will face Richmond.
A new champion will be crowned as two-time defending titlist Montrose was defeated by Corunna in the regional semifinals on Wednesday.
Caro was the runner-up in 2005, losing to Montrose in the finals, 43-31. Caro was the state champion in 2003.
The winners advance to the semfinals on Saturday, March 4. The semifinals will begin at 11:45 a.m. The finals are scheduled for 4 p.m.
Admission for the quarterfinals and semifinals is $6 per person. Admission to the finals is $7. Tickets are available at the arena.
