Judd Lumber Co. was recently presented with the new “Century Award” by the Michigan Lumber and Building Materials Association (MLBMA) during the industry's Great Lakes Building Products Exposition in Grand Rapids.
This award recognizes the heritage and contributions independent, community-based retail building material dealers and suppliers have played in the development of Michigan and honors the recipients for continuously operating their businesses for more than 100 years.
Judd Lumber Co. was founded in Dowagiac in 1859 and is currently in its 147th year of operation.
Judd Lumber is the oldest, continuously operated, family-owned lumber and building material business in Michigan.
