BRIDGMAN - The Edwardsurg Eddies became Bridgman's 13th straight victim Friday night.
The Bees improved to 13-0 with a 71-51 Lakeland Conference victory. Bridgman is now 9-0 in the conference.
Edwardsburg falls to 5-8 overall and 1-7 in the Lakeland Conference.
The Eddies trailed just 15-13 after one period of play and 28-25 at the intermission.
Bridgman outscored Edwardsburg 20-10 in the third quarter to open up a 48-35 lead heading into the final eight minutes.
The Bees tossed in 23 points in the fourth quarter, while Edwardsburg talled 17 points.
David Daniels led Edwardsburg with 17 points, Tony Hayes added 10 points before fouling out.
The Eddies also got 14 points from Adam Hancock.
Dan Kunde led Bridgman and all scorers with 27 points, Nick Sweet finished with 10 points.
Edwardsburg had Tuesday night off, but will travel to River Valley on Friday for another lead contest.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
