Cedar Lane falls short of win

NILES - The Cedar Lane basketball team suffered a 48-39 loss on the road Monday against Barcley Hills Alternative.
Cedar Lane held onto a three point lead at halftime, but coach Jim Barnhart said his team just ran out of fuel in the second half.
A.J. Fox led the team in scoring with 18 points. Tyler Haynes had nine, Antoine Gray had six, Jason York had three and Josh Breeding added two.
Cedar Lane is back in action today against Reach and Teach Alternative. Game time is set for 11:30 a.m. at the New Genesis Center in Kalamazoo.
