CASSOPOLIS - Orville F. “Red” Gay, 90, of Vandalia, died suddenly of natural causes after an illness Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at 11:06 p.m. at Three Rivers Area Hospital, Three Rivers.
Gay belonged to Pleasant View Church of Christ, where his funeral took place at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, with the Rev. Larry Settle, retired pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Poe Cemetery in Newberg Township.
Military honors were conducted by members of William E. Lozier VFW Post 10704 and Efton James American Legion Post 206, both of Cassopolis.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant View Church of Christ or to the charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements were by Connelly Funeral Home, Cassopolis.
