Anneliese “Betty” Kurtis, 81, of Bertrand Road, Niles, died Friday, Dec. 23, at 3:10 p.m. at West Woods of Niles, following an extended illness.
The Mass of Christian Burial for Betty will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, at Saint Mark Catholic Church, Niles, by the Rev. Joseph W. Koma, C.S.C. of the parish. Committal rites will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Niles. The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, Dec. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Halbritter Funeral Home, Niles, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
Contributions in memory of Betty Kurtis may be made to Saint Mark Catholic Church, or to the Niles District Library.
