Dowagiac District Library, in conjunction with Beckwith Theatre and Dogwood Fine Arts Festival, will bring Virginia Woolfe to Dowagiac.
She will welcome participants to the fourth Filmentality presentation on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2006, at 7 p.m.
The Emmy Award-winning film based on the book, “The Hours,” will be shown on Beckwith Theatre's big screen.
Along with the showing of the film, Mrs. Woolfe will answer questions of the audience and serve tea with all the expected accoutrements.
Mr. Cunningham, who wrote the book, will be the featured author during the next Dogwood Fine Arts Festival and will give his lecture this May, 2006.
Mrs. Woolfe's invitation for visitors to join the Dowagiac Bloomsbury Group will be an introduction to Mr. Cunningham's book and an opportunity for viewers to step into the stories of three generations of women within the same theme of growth through life and death.
The evening will be memorable for all who attend and will be offered free of charge.
Call Dowagiac District Library for questions and details at 269/782-3826.
