NILES - The Ring Lardner eighth grade blue basketball team lost to Penn Discovery 46-36 Tuesday night.
The game was tied at 34 going into the fourth quarter, but an eight point burst by Discovery at the beginning of the period was too much for the Vikings to overcome.
Niles was led by Camron Sly and Mitch Peterek both with 13 points each.
Ring Lardner currently stands at 4-5 on the season. The Vikes play at Benton Harbor Fairplain today.
