Cassopolis falls to Coloma Comets, 41-32

CASSOPOLIS - The host Rangers could not overcome a slow start Friday night as it was defeated by visiting Coloma, 41-32, in Lakeland Conference play.
The Rangers trailed 15-8 at halftime.
The Comets grabbed a 9-1 first quarter advantage as both teams struggled offensively.
The struggle continued in the second quarter as the Rangers held a 7-6 scoring advantage.
In the third quarter Cassopolis cut the lead to 25-21 by outscoring the Comets, 13-10.
Spencer Paulsen scored 14 points to lead Coloma. Brian Saltzman added eight.
Paul Curtis had 10 points for the Rangers. John Young and Neal Bullocks both had six.
