BUCHANAN - The Buchanan varsity wrestling team took a big 61-15 win over visiting River Valley Wednesday evening to keep the Bucks undefeated, 2-0, in the Lakeland Conference.
The win also improves Buchanan's overall record to 8-2, with its only losses coming from Niles and South Haven.
Winning by forfeit for the Bucks were Josh Mills at 140, Justin Brown at 189 and Mike Connors at 275.
Winning by pins were Tony Taylor (119) over John Stein (4:45); Nick Wheetley (125) over Doug Pugh (:35); Travis Reith (130) over Mike East (:48); Auston Ferris (152) over Jason Ehlert (3:30); Ryan Harrington (171) over Tom Martin (3:06); and Jim Connors (215) over Ben Kacmar (1:36).
