NILES - The frigid temperatures and gusty winds Thursday morning didn't stop the Niles-Buchanan YMCA, First Source Bank's annual Thanksgiving Day Run.
Runners from all over the United States, even one from japan, took part in the popular run.
The overall 10K winner was Laura Herr from Niles, who finished with a time of 42:35. Herr was part of the female division for ages 19-24.
The top 10K male finisher was John Arndt from New Carlisle, Ind., with a time of 36:10.
The top 5K female winner was Jenny Irwin from Scottville, who finished with a time of 19:06.
Greg Howard of South Bend, Ind., finished first in the 5K men's division with a time of 16:42.
The top female finisher in the 5K walk was Karen Froehlich from Berrien Center with a time of 36:09.
The top male finisher was Clarence Grimm of Niles with a time of 28:07.
