The Dowagiac girls' basketball team drew a first round byes in the upcoming Class B District Tournament to be held at Lakeshore High School in Stevensville.
The Chieftains will face the winner of the Lakeshore-South Haven contest on Monday, Nov. 14 at 8 p.m.
The championship game is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
Class B at Sturgis
Edwardsburg will take on host Sturgis at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 14.
Battle Creek Pennfield will take on Battle Creek Harper Creek at 7:30 p.m. also on Nov. 14.
Vicksburg will face the winner of the Pennfield-Harper Creek game at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, while Three Rivers will face either Sturgis or Edwardsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 16.
The finals are set for Friday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m.
Class C at Cassopolis
The Lady Rangers will open up defense of their district title on Monday, Nov. 14 when they host Constantine at 7 p.m.
Centreville will take on Colon on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.
On Wednesday, Nov. 16, Marcellus will face either Cass or Constantine at 7, while on Thursday, Nov. 17, White Pigeon will face either Centreville or Colon at 7 p.m.
The finals are at 7 p.m.on Nov. 19.
